when i started singing - 1995
So this one is easy.
I have ALWAYS wanted to sing since I was a little girl. One day my sisters brought home a tape recorder around 1995, which in those days was as big as a brick.
My grandma (like the rest of my extended family) lived in Philippines and I was going to sing her a song, record and post it to her for her birthday. Yes, the days before facebook, internet and email!
I recorded a songified message, which entailed what I got for Christmas, a reminder about my own birthday, and of course a Happy Birthday message for her.
That's my first memory of singing I think.
But it sure wasn't to be my last memory. Since then I've had a lot of fun with training my voice and creating new stories to tell my kids and look back on when I'm old! =P
Life's about living and I'm going to squeeze every last drop out!
