The best thing about this night was that I loved my pretty dress.
It was the Filipino Party that's held once each year. It was at the Buninyong School hall, and I sang Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' believe it or not!
There were a couple of hard notes in it that were high for me back then, and I can feel the fear to this day when I was approaching the note in the performance.
I'd had one rehearsal with the Karaoke track, and my Aty Nenita (a sign of respect for Filipinos to call your elders Aty/Uncle to those close to the family) recorded the whole thing on video - which was pretty flash in those days.
